What to Expect
BEFORE
We recommend that you refrain from drinking alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment. We also recommend not taking common over-the-counter medications that thin your blood at least 3-5 days before your treatment, as this increases your risk for bruising. These medications include fish oil, NSAIDS (advil, aleve, ibuprofen, motrin, aspirin), or vitamin E supplements. Do NOT stop taking any prescription medications or medications that your doctor recommends without speaking with your health care provider first.
DURING
Jeuveau® treatments take less than twenty minutes to complete. Your clinician will already know where you wish to have wrinkles and fine lines smoothed away after a brief yet informative consultation.
AFTER
The results of Jeuveau® may begin to take effect in as little as two to three days and normal activities may resume after treatment. We ask that you please do not lie on or touch the treatment area after for at least a day. Headbands, hats or other head gear should be left in your closet to avoid putting pressure on your forehead.
