What Is Botox Used For?
Botox injections are primarily used to minimize wrinkles on the face and neck and create a fresh and youthful appearance. However, they can also be used for other non-cosmetic purposes such as excessive sweating or reducing migraines, as follows:
Lazy eye. Early uses of Botox centered around certain eye conditions such as lazy eye, which is caused by eye muscle imbalances.
Hyperhidrosis. Some people suffer from excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis. Botox injections can help you get this condition under control.
Chronic migraine. If you have debilitating migraines several times a month, Botox injections may reduce the frequency of these headaches.
Eye twitching. Botox injections can sometimes relieve the twitching of muscles around the eye.

What to Expect During the Botox Procedure
Your Botox journey starts with a free consultation. One of our consultants will help you identify spots you would like to tweak. Then, we can explain how our services can improve your appearance and boost your confidence.
Remember to plan your Botox appointments at least two weeks prior to important events in your life. We will provide instructions on how to prepare for Botox, including avoiding caffeine and alcohol a week prior to your procedure. Additionally, we recommend waiting at least two weeks following a chemical peel or facial.
The duration of the outpatient procedure depends on how many Botox injections you need to accomplish your goals. However, most clients finish in 20 to 45 minutes. During the procedure, you'll feel a mild pinch, and you can expect between two and ten injections for each area we treat.
Recovery Time and Duration of Effects
You may experience numbness and swelling in the area for the first few days following the procedure.
Although results can vary from patient to patient, Botox treatments typically last from 3-6 months. Because Botox is a temporary treatment, muscle action returns as the effects wear off. This occurs gradually as lines and wrinkles reappear. It's safe to retreat the same areas multiple times to maintain a younger-looking appearance.
In order to maximize the effects of your Botox injections, we recommend maintaining a healthy diet and avoiding overexposure to the sun. Facial structure, expressions and age are factors that impact your results.
Many clients realize results within three days and the full effects of Botox treatment within two weeks.
